The Making of Nocturne

Every collection starts the same way: with something we couldn't find. Nocturne began with a coat that didn't exist — light enough to live in, heavy enough to mean something.

We travelled to a mill outside Biella that has woven double-faced wool for four generations. There, two layers of cloth are bonded without a single stitch of lining, then split and closed entirely by hand.

The result is a coat that weighs almost nothing yet holds a sculptural line. It is, we think, the most honest thing we've ever made — and the hardest.

Nocturne is limited to 120 numbered coats. When they're gone, they're gone. That scarcity isn't a tactic; it's simply how much our atelier can finish by hand this season.
